Government creates the environment that encourages or restricts the legal creation of wealth and jobs. High taxes and a restrictive regulatory environment restrict economic growth and jobs. Low marginal tax rates and reasonable regulations allow the creation of private sector wealth and jobs. Government can also control who may be favored by exemption from taxes, regulations and also receive subsidies. This is not only corrupt crony capitalism it is also fascism. The Obama administration has a history of crony capitalism fascism with it's green energy policy. The Obama administration has a history of promoting a high marginal rate income tax and restrictive regulatory policy for most of the private sector. Unfortunately this administration is strongly backed by the leader ship of the Democrat party. Most of the elected members of the Democrat party have no private sector experience that is not government subsidized. Under this administration the federal government has become an extortion and protection racket run for the benefit of the politicians and the government bureaucracy.
