I am 44years old.I started singing 4years ago. This statement from the great singer Marilyn Horne makes me go ahead to find out what real singing is. After 4years I've done practicing, time to time I felt I am in Zen while I am singing.I want to have that feeling all the time.But I am not sure this is right feeling ,any way I continue to sing for that reason.But I am not totally convince myself good enough to sing in public yet I am not rush to do it any way. I have a small sushi place that has opera open stage(I don't want to call it open mic).we have many singers come to our place,some are really good some are not so good but all has one thing common Good talent.It is sorry to loose great artistry of acting with correct projecting sounds.Once Ms.Southernland said after her retirement "When I was singing there were 3 out of 4 good singers now there are 3 out of 4 bad singers" there are no doubt this statement was from her love of her artistry of singing. Hope there are more places need good singers than good appearances because good singing is so beautiful !!!!!!!
