Someone has to say it, I will. A 90 year old should not run for another 6 year term in the U.S. Senate. Period. There is a very good chance Sen Lautenberg dies in office if re-elected in 2014. Chris Christie who's a heavy favorite to be re-elected this year would then get to replace him with a Republican. Considering the make up of the current U.S. Senate and the prospects of less Democratic seats after the 2014 midterms, the Democrats can't afford that to happen.
