Ohrilly commented on Nick Denton tells a crowd there isn't enough Internet gossip

Naturally the head of a gossip site would argue that more gossip = a better world. Is he saying we should redraft the current defamation legislation? That's the thing holding most outlets back from publishing whatever they want. Let's imagine there were no defamation laws and anyone could say anything about anyone - how would you ever know which things were true and which were merely malicious? This story has made me lose what shred of respect I may have had for Denton.
