Mary Ann commented on On stage, the pleasant 'purple-state' feminism of Amy Poehler

I don't know, this is a woman who wrote a fundraising letter for Planned Parenthood and who went behind the Weekend Update desk on SNL during the initial stages of the health care/birth control fiasco a few months ago and railed against Congressional Republicans who would try to 'tell me what to do.' I'm not sure that's 'purple state feminism' so much as it's just plain-old feminism.
