Our founding fathers had a clear understanding of how any government can become tyrannical, so they created safeguards to protect the people of our republic: The Bill of Rights and The Constitution. Many Americans (and most of our elected officials) seem to have forgotten this. But it's not too late to turn this country around and get back on the right path. Educate anybody who will listen about their rights and the limited role of government according to the Constitution. Encourage them to vote in all elections, from the local to national level, and to not vote based on looks or charisma but rather by the candidate's adherence to our Constitution.
