This is a league that wants to be taken seriously and putting a team in what they consider their top market in a baseball stadium will not do that. MLS wants to end the days of playing in a stadium that is not suited to watching soccer, not continue it. As for the name, while I as a native of Queens would love for it to be in there somewhere, MLS would rather New York for marketability.Posted on January 8th, 2013 3:36pm
