I hear what you are saying, but to me, the save stat is so arbitrary, so meaningless, that the save percentage ends up worth even less to me. It's the same thing with fielding percentage- errors are such a terrible way to evaluate defense that fielding percentage becomes even less worthwhile. Worth noting as well: the save against the Yankees, strong outings against Philadelphia and Atlanta. I don't think he's performed poorly in the clutch, myself.
