It's hard out there for a photographer. 200 a day is a living- maybe not super comfortable in NYC, but I know enough talented photographers who are unable to find the work to pay there rent. In that sense, having a regular shift with a regular paycheck is a relief to people in these uncertain times. That said, it IS exploitation, and the top brass at the daily news completely under-value photography and photographers.

Gross. Keeping with the vision of News of the World America. I think we can expect extra coverage the Kardashians, political scandals, sensationalism, and full length hot girls on page 3 every day while NYC continues to shoot and incarcerate its young and the income disparity widens.

As a photographer, it was always a pleasure to work on a Gendar story. I wish her well. Truly a major loss to the paper.
