Andrew Rice commented on N.B.C. announces a Premier League package, and a milestone for soccer in America

To be a little clearer, the press release says all matches will be aired live one some channel. But it seems like the temptation will always be there to feature the most important matches on the later NBC broadcast.

My big question is: what percentage of the matches will be aired on tape delay? The Fox Soccer/ESPN deal was actually pretty good about airing the premier (no pun intended) matches of the day live, so for instance the thrilling Man City-QPR match that ended last season began at 8 am. I hope NBC doesn't succumb to the temptation to black out the most important matches so they can be aired at 1 or 2 pm.
