(1)How many vibrator jokes does it take to top paparazzi pictures of Katy Perry?

(2)Kiss of the Trampire? 'Daily News' to overhaul its gossip beat
Gatecrasher, will at some point in the near future cease to exist as it does now: a standard two-page spread of scoops, party items and celebrity photos similar to Page Six, the long-running gossip column of rival tabloid The New York Post. More
Inside billionaire Joe Ricketts' dreams of media empire
Ricketts is somewhat enigmatic. He’s not a recluse, but he seldom gives interviews, preferring instead to speak to his public, such as it is, directly, either through occasional blog posts on his personal website, or the professionally edited shorts that reside on his YoutTube channel. He is not a player in the digital media scene; not among its savants, its big-name consultants or its bankrollers, whether they’re do-good charities or venture firms. He is active in politics, but he pays into his political activities directly; there is no discernible political agenda to DNAinfo, and if anything the site seems to skew against determining the course of the conversation, focusing instead on breaking straight news and saturating at the pavement rather than the council chamber and the executive offices of government or the boardrooms of the city’s power elites. At 'New York's Picture Newspaper,' photographers trade dark looks
The paper's pool of regular freelance photographers, including more than a dozen who work full-time hours for the tabloid on set day-rates but are not salaried employees with benefits, were recently asked to sign a new contract by July 31 in order to continue receiving assignments after that date. In particular: It reduces the ability of photographers to resell their work, something that has long been considered a staple of their compensation because the base pay can be as little as $150 per day. (3)'Daily News' hires Alexander Hitchen, 'Enquirer' reporter who broke the John Edwards-Rielle Hunter scandal wide open
He brings with him a sensibility for the types of salacious, eye-popping tabloid stories that are also the stock-in-trade of News editor (and fellow Briton) Colin Myler, who previously edited the U.K. Sunday tabloid News of the World before News Corp. shut it down at the height of the phone-hacking scandal last summer.
