It wasn't supposed to be like this for Connecticut.
Fresh off of winning a national title, the Connecticut men's basketball team returned every important contributor from last season's team, with the exception of Kemba Walker. While Walker was undoubtedly the Huskies' best player—indeed, the best player in college basketball last season—Connecticut brought back its next four top players, added a stellar recruiting class, and appeared to possess more talent than anyone in the Big East, if not the nation.
