Source: Anthony Weiner hires a former Obama and Gillibrand aide
According to a source, Anthony Weiner has hired a former Obama campaign aide and adviser to Senator Kirsten Gillibrand to be the political director of his soon-to-be-announced mayoral campaign.
Camille Joseph worked for seven months as the "National African American Vote Deputy Director: Obama for America" in 2012 and for nearly two years was the director of intergovernmental affairs and a special adviser for Gillibrand, according to her online profile.
Joseph was also a field organizer in the Bronx and Queens for Obama back in 2008. And she was previously an intern at the Clinton Foundation.
Weiner did not immediately return a request for comment.
A message left on Joseph's cell phone was not immediately returned.
