The very popular Democratic governor Andrew Cuomo isn't mentioned by name, but a photograph of him appears in this ad by Suffern Mayor Dagan LaCorte, who is running for county executive.
On November 26, LaCorte tweeted a link to this 2-minute-long video, in which he drops Cuomo's name in the first ten seconds.
LaCorte, a Democrat, is the first candidate up with a television ad and joins two other Democrats in the crowded race to succeed retiring county executive Scott Vanderhoef, a Republican.
The governor is very popular.
