North Brooklynites, take heart. The M.T.A. is working to repair the L train.

This morning, the M.T.A. resumed service on the G train, though at reduced speeds.

It remains unclear when the L train service will start running again. 

M.T.A. spokesman Adam Lisberg has said restoring both the L and G trains is now the agency's "highest priority."
