Here's footage of Andrew Cuomo playing the role of an Obama surrogate in the spin room after the debate in Hofstra, via Long Island report.

Behind him are two top aides, outgoing communications director Richard Bamberger and executive deputy secretary Joe Percoco.

In praising Obama's performance, Cuomo said, "I think he had the full range of appropriate emotions, if you will. I thought he was perturbed when he should be perturbed. I thought he was aggressive when he should be aggressive."

He went on to say "the president is masterful in these performances."

Later, he was asked about Obama and Romney's positions on U.S. China. Cuomo, sidestepping the question, said, "I think the president was very strong in making his point about Mitt Romney's investments and his company and his actions and that's just a powerful, emotional point."
