Bloomberg and Cuomo praise same-sex marriage, ignore each other

When Michael Bloomberg announced that the state's one-year-old law legalizing same-sex marriage brought $259 million into New York City's economy, the governor who signed it wasn't there.
Cuomo did not have any public events that day, but according to his schedule, he was in New York City.
Then, this afternoon, Cuomo's office sent out an email touting the historic nature of the bill. The email also made reference to that same $259 million figure brought into New York City's economy. But in Cuomo's email, there is no mention of Bloomberg. Instead, it notes, "a Crain's New York Business article reported yesterday a $259 million economic impact in New York City alone."
The lede of that Crain's article has one source for the $259 million figure: Bloomberg.
Both Cuomo and Bloomberg supported same-sex marriage, but did so apart from one another.
Last year, the Human Rights Campaign wanted to honor Cuomo with their highest award, at an event in Washington. When he declined to attend, they presented it to Bloomberg.
