Keren-Aniyim, a Flatbush/Midwood Orthodox Jewish charity had its annual golf outing last night at the Marine Park golf course in Brooklyn.
An attendee passed along this video of the organizers stopping to pray at sundown. One person continued to hit balls as the organizers prayed: David Storobin, the newly elected Republican State Senator.
To be fair, Storobin wasn't the only one who was busy with other things at the time: At least one of the men was praying while checking his cell phone.
After winning a special election in a district that was prompty eliminated in redistricting, Storobin is running for election in a newly drawn "Super Jewish" Senate district. He'll be going up against Simcha Felder, the Democratic former councilman, who also attended the golf event last night.
