Appeals court throws out another stop-and-frisk

Mayor Michael Bloomberg's spokesman said an Appeals Court ruling to invalidate the arrest of a young man found with a gun will lead to "more guns on the street and get people killed."
A five-judge panel said the officer did not have a good enough reason to stop and frisk the teenager in question. Last week, another five-judge panel threw out an arrest for the same reason.
The logic used by the court could have profound implications for the application of stop-and-frisk. Will the NYPD continue the tactic if the resulting gun busts don't stick?
