The former head of NARAL-NY, Kelli Conlin, has already admitted she stole $75,000 from the nonprofit  she ran from 1992 to 2001. Today, New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman is filing a civil lawsuit against Conlin that alleges a far more egregious misuse of NARAL-NY's money.

The suit alleges that Conlin treated herself to "Shopping sprees at Bergdorf Goodman" and Barney's, and used the organization's money to pay rent on a five-bedroom vacation home in the Hamptons.

According to a person familiar with the investigation, Conlin also spent the nonprofit's money on moving furniture, spa treatments, her personal cell phone, meals at fancy Manhattan restaurants likes Daniel and 11 Madison Park, plus an additional $6,900 on meals at restaurants near her Park Slope home. There's also 120 meals from a single local sushi restaurant.

Schneiderman's office alleges Conlin misspent about $250,000 of NARAL-NY's money.
