I asked Governor Andrew Cuomo after his appearance at the Gay Pride Parade in Manhattan about his endorsement of Rep. Charlie Rangel, which The Hill newspaper called "a less than ringing" because it focused on the 81-year-old Democrat's "tenure and power rather than his personal qualities."
Cuomo said it was "a totally unfair characterization" and said "I couldn't have been stronger in my support of Charlie Rangel."
