An unadvertised Council committee meeting about Ruben Wills' behavior

6:23 pm Jun. 21, 2012

According to a source, the City Council's Committee on Standard and Ethics will be meeting at 9:45 a.m. tomorrow at 250 Broadway to discuss section 10.80 of the Council bylaws, which deals with "disorderly behavior" on the part of a member.

The subject of the meeting will be Councilman Ruben Wills, a Queens Democrat who has refused to provide information to the New York State Attorney General's office, which is investigating how public money was spent at a nonprofit he used to run.

The Council has already removed Wills from their Budget Negotiating Team and referred the matter to the committee earlier this month.

The meeting is not accounted for on the Council website.

UPDATE: The meeting has been added to the calendar.

Don't you just "Love" those sources who LEak info to the press.

Without them the press would be "Blind" to what is going on round them.

Before there was the "Oracle of Delphi" there was Count Vampire J. Machiavelli
