The list of people supporting Rep. Charlie Rangel's bid for a 22nd term in office includes Christine Quinn, Bill Thompson and John Liu, all of whom are planning to run for mayor in 2013.
The only major Democratic candidates not on an invitation to a big Rangel fund-raising event are Bill de Blasio and Scott Stringer.
I've reached out to spokespeople for de Blasio and Stringer, neither of whom has made an endorsement in the primary, which pits Rangel against State Senator Adriano Espaillat, former presidential aide Clyde Williams and former district leader Joyce Johnson.
UPDATE: A spokesman for de Blasio emails: "We have not spoken with the candidates, and will not make any announcement until we have had a chance to do so."

Rangel is becoming more and more like Humpty Dumpty and all the "ESTABLISHMENT" may not be able to put him in the winners circle.
Rangel should have "Retired" and enjoy life and go out a winner.
