Bloomberg’s (abridged) report on 911 emergency call centers
On Friday, Mayor Michael Bloomberg's administration released a paper copy of a 134-page report detailing problems with the city's 911 emergency call centers, and with the level of coordination on emergency-response between the fire and police departments.
Here, for the first time, is the report online.
The report released Friday is missing about 80 pages, which, according to Josh Margolin, contain a damaging assessment of the NYPD which City Hall fears could anger police commissioner Ray Kelly. CIty Hall is currently fighting the release of those additional pages.
