A 'Super Jewish' State Senate candidate repents of his Obama vote

One day after a Republican opponent highlighted Simcha Felder's 2008 support for Barack Obama, the former Democratic councilman making his second run for State Senate said he had made a mistake and wouldn't be voting for Barack Obama again.

“He’s been a terrible president,” Felder said of Obama. “Unfortunately, I was wrong, and I will certainly not be voting for the president in the upcoming election.”

Felder is running in a "super Jewish" district created in the recent Republican-controlled State Senate redistricting process.
