Here's police commissioner Ray Kelly with two city councilmen at Mayor Michael Bloomberg's annual dinner for top city officials at Gracie Mansion on Thursday.
The councilmen are Peter Vallone Jr., the staunchly pro-police chairman of the Council's public safety committee, and Jumaane Williams, a Democratic freshman from Brooklyn who was arrested by officers during the West Indian Labor Day Parade this past summer.
Williams' arrest became a rallying point for proponents of greater oversight of the NYPD, whose calls Kelly has mostly rebuffed.
Williams posted the picture to Twitter with the following comment: "Can anyone guess what I talked about with #NYPD Commissioner #RayKelly & Council Member Peter Vallone, Jr.? :)"
