De Niros, Whoopi and Star to host Michelle Obama for cocktails at the Greenwich Hotel

First Lady Michelle Obama will be in New York City on March 19 for a fund-raiser hosted by Robert De Niro and his wife, Grace Hightower De Niro.
The host committee includes a number of famous women: actresses Angela Bassett, Alfre Woodard, Whoopi Goldberg, television host Star Jones, Beyonce's mother Tina Knowles and Tonya Lewis Lee, the wife of director Spike Lee.
Tickets are $5,000 and include a photo and the reception. To be added to the host committee requires raising $25,000.
That's considerably less than a fund-raiser the first lady hosted in North Carolina last week, which cost $100,000 per couple.
The event will be at De Niro's Greenwich Hotel in Tribeca.
