Broadcast and cable news networks are scrambling to put together special coverage on this morning's mass shooting at an elementary school in Newtown, Conn.
Here are the announcements we've received so far. We'll update as we receive more.
CNN's live coverage of the school shooting in Connecticut includes Susan Candiotti on location. Ashleigh Banfield and Jason Carroll are covering the story as well. CNN and CNN International are in simulcast. CNN en Español, HLN and CNN.com continue with their live coverage.

CNN will have continuing live coverage of the Connecticut elementary school shooting throughout primetime tonight. Soledad O’Brien is in Connecticut along with CNN correspondents Susan Candiotti, Jason Carroll and Mary Snow. With Erin Burnett traveling home from assignment in Afghanistan, Ashleigh Banfield will anchor live on location from Newtown, Connecticut, at 7pmE and 11pmE. In addition, Anderson Cooper 360 will be live at 8pmE and 10pmE, as will Piers Morgan Tonight at 9pmE. CNN International will simulcast tonight’s television programming. Friday, December 14
NBC Nightly News
Brian Williams will anchor a special one-hour edition of “NBC Nightly News” live from Newtown, CT at 6:30 p.m. ET, featuring reports on the tragedy and the investigation, the families and communities affected, and the reaction across the country.
Lester Holt and Brian Williams will anchor a special hour of “Dateline” devoted to the shooting at 10:00 p.m. ET with Brian Williams live from Newtown, CT.
Friday’s special editions of "NBC Nightly News" and "Dateline" will live stream on NBCNews.com. NBC News Special Reports and press conferences are also available via live stream and for delayed viewing on the site. In addition, MSNBC will have continuing coverage throughout the day and primetime, including a live 10:00 p.m. ET hour with Chris Jansing anchoring from Newtown, CT. MSNBC will also have extended news coverage on Saturday until at least 7:00 p.m. ET.

Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie will co-anchor a special edition of “Today” live from Newtown, CT along with Lester Holt and Erica Hill. Ann Curry and Willie Geist will report.
Diane Sawyer will anchor a special ONE-HOUR edition of “World News with Diane Sawyer” from Newtown, CT.
Cynthia McFadden will anchor a special ONE-HOUR edition of “Nightline” from Connecticut.
UPDATE: ABC News will air a special edition of “Good Morning America” on Saturday, December 15. George Stephanopoulos and Elizabeth Vargas will anchor the broadcast with Josh Elliott, Amy Robach, Dan Harris reporting from the scene in Newtown, Connecticut along with other members of the ABC News team.
