“Is your house always filled with guests who are craving your amazing meals? Do you throw the best dinner parties in town? Are people always asking for your recipes?”  

If so you may be in luck, for such are the criteria for competing on "America’s Best Home Cook," a brand new reality-show competition coming to the Food Network and hosted by celebrity chef and reality-TV megastar Bobby Flay. According to an announcement from the network, Flay is currently searching for the best home cook duos in the New York metropolitan area.  

“Maybe you and your spouse make an awesome team in the kitchen,” the announcement reads, or perhaps “your sister is the only other person you trust with a spatula!”

Regardless, the chosen few will be given the chance to compete for the title of American’s Best Home Cook—in Flay’s professional opinion, at least.   

Here’s how to apply:

Email BobbysBestHomeCookNY@gmail.com ASAP with the following:  

-Your name and the name of your teammate
-Recent photos of you and your teammate
-A short bio on you and your teammate (relationship, occupations, etc.)
-Tell us why you are the best home cooks, please provide photos of your food
-Tell us about the best parties you’ve thrown
- Contact information and current location
