Deputy Mayor Patti Harris has spent nine years as one of the most powerful people in the Bloomberg administration, and as one its least known. Last week, she testified in court that she spends about 60 hours a week working as deputy mayor. (Another five hours, she said, was spent in her job at the mayor's philanthropic organization.)

Today, after repeated requests, City Hall released Harris's daily schedule for all of 2009 and 2010. [The schedules have been uploaded here.]

My first attempt to obtain her schedule through a FOIL request in May 2010 was delayed, then ignored. New York Post reporter Annie Karni wrote last week about City Hall "failing to give any explanation" for not releasing Harris's schedule in response to a FOIL request in January.

The schedules show Harris and Bloomberg met with the New York Times local political editor, Carolyn Ryan, at Gracie Mansion in June of 2009. A short time later, they met there with actor Brad Pitt, for about thirty minutes, to discuss philanthropy. And after Russell Simmons wrote an open letter to the mayor that was published on the Huffington Post, Simmons had a thirty minute meeting in Gracie Mansion, with a mayoral spokesman.

The schedules also shed some light on the mayor's whereabouts, with a number of events and meetings flagged as "MRB," including interviews with the New Yorker and Politico, and an appearance at Hank Paulson's book party.

Harris's schedule does not show where she was during the Christmas weekend snowstorm.
