City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito named a mix of loyalists and detractors to her budget negotiating team, according to a source briefed on the appointments.

The list of members who will represent their boroughs during budget talks includes Democrats Dan Garodnick of Manhattan and James Vacca of the Bronx, both of whom ran against Mark-Viverito for speaker.

Mark-Viverito also picked Inez Dickens, a Manhattan Democrat who initially ran for speaker and ended up being one of Mark-Viverito's most vocal critics during the final weeks of the election.

Shortly after she became speaker, Mark-Viverito bumped Dickens from her leadership post in the Council, and took away her position chairing the council's rules committee.

Mark-Viverito also selected some of her closest allies, including Jumaane Williams, Julissa Ferreras, Margaret Chin and Jimmy Van Bramer.

Republican Vincent Ignizio of Staten Island, the council's GOP minority leader, was also appointed.

The budget negotiating team, which represents each borough in the city, determines the Council's priorities as it relates to restoring cuts and asking for funding in the mayor's spending plan each year.

Other appointees include Debi Rose of Staten Island, Donovan Richards of Queens, Helen Rosenthal and Ydanis Rodriguez of Manhattan, David Greenfield and Antonio Reynoso of Brooklyn and Andy King of the Bronx.
